Susann Magnusson

Susann has worked as a school nurse for several years and is now the head of Student Health in Uddevalla, in the western part of Sweden. Susann has been a board member of the Swedish Association of School Nurses for seven years, and became president in April 2018.

Christina Stenhammar

Christina Stenhammar has worked as a school nurse and today she is the head of School Health in Uppsala. Christina did her PhD in 2011; the thesis was about Parental perspectives on preschool children’s lifestyle. The areas of her postdoctoral studies are HPV vaccination and students’ sexual behaviour. She is a board member of the Swedish Association of School Nurses.

Elisabet Lithammer

Elisabet Lithammer is working as a school nurse in Västerås, with children aged 6 to 16. Elisabet has a BA in Public Health and in Teaching. Her main area of interest is to find ways for every child to reach his/her full potential and helping out in that is her dog, which is a trained and registered therapy and R.E.A.D dog. Elisabet is a board member of the Swedish Association of School Nurses.

Gunilla Fagerholt 

Gunilla Fagerholt has been a school nurse since 1981 in the city Lund in the south part of Sweden. 2005 – 2009 she was the president of the Swedish Association of School Nurses. She has visited many SNI conferences and is now very happy to welcome you to Sweden.

Agnetha Fredin

Agnetha Fredin has worked as a school nurse for several years and is now the head of Student Health for high schools in southern Sweden. Agnetha did her master thesis on the topic “The school nurse’s work with mental illness”. She is a member of the Advisory Council of the Public Health Agency (Folkhälsomyndigheten) of Sweden. Agnetha is the past president of the Swedish Association of School Nurses.

Eva Clausson

Eva Clausson has worked as a school nurse for ten years. Today she is an associate professor at Kristianstad University. Eva did her PhD thesis in 2008. The thesis was about school nurses’ work with perceiving, documenting and improving school children’s health. The areas of her postdoctoral work were about group interventions for promoting schoolchildren’s mental health. She is a leader of a multi-professional research group and a board member of the Journal of School Nursing.

Marina Reuterswärd

Marina Reuterswärd has worked as a school nurse for many years. Today she is a lecturer at Karolinska Institute, Stockholm where she teaches public health nursing with a specialty in school nursing. Her research has focused on health promotion by school nurses and on school nursing in interprofessional teams.

Gunilla Serlén

Gunilla Serlén is working full time in different schools with children aged 6-16 years and has been a school nurse for over 30 years. She is working with helping students to good health which makes for better learning. Her school is working a lot with prevention for good fysical and psycological health in interproffesional team. This will be her 5th SNI conference.
